Teacher Percussion Training at Waqf Schools

The project aims to enhance music education in Jerusalem's Waqf schools by creating a 12-month percussion training program for non-specialized teachers. Sabreen developed a comprehensive percussion training manual, audio resources, and deployed two expert trainers to conduct a 10-day workshop for 25-30 teachers identified and selected by the Jerusalem Directorate of Education. Upon completion, teachers will receive certificates, digital manuals, and percussion kits will be distributed to 20 schools. The project not only addresses immediate needs but also establishes a sustainable framework for ongoing music education in the local community.
