Sufi Project

The aim of this project is to produce and promote a unique Sufi artistic production to preserve Palestinian identity. During the project, 7 musicians were trained on different musical instruments, in addition to a total number of 7 vocalists and singers were selected to participate in the project. An Intensive training for the two groups of musicians and singers were conducted, with 4 songs composed and distributed specifically for the project. Sabreen Association has implemented multiple projects in relation to Sufism that range from training, workshops, and performances throughout the past eight years. These projects have been funded by the ministry of culture and UNDP, but have developed into productions curated by Sabreen.
